Distance education allows students anywhere in the world to experience Harvard through a number of courses available via the Internet. Lectures for some distance education courses are given on campus as well as online. Local students have the option of attending lectures or watching them online and are generally required to attend weekly sections on campus. Students who take distance education courses online complete the same coursework and must satisfy the same academic requirements as students who take courses on campus. Students who intend to take distance education courses online should register online.
