Guidelines

Registration March 13 through June 11

Students may register with a minimum payment of the $50 nonrefundable registration fee until June 11, when full payment is due. We recommend online registration to all students, especially those applying for on-campus housing or limited-enrollment courses. Online payment is made with a credit card. Alternatively, students may download* the registration form and submit it with payment to Harvard Summer School, 51 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA 02138.

Some courses and programs, such as the Secondary School Program and Study Abroad Programs, have an application process that precedes registration. Refer to specific course descriptions or program information.

Registration for Harvard Summer School does not imply admission to Harvard College or any Harvard graduate or professional school.

Registration PIN. Every Summer School registrant is assigned a unique registration PIN (personal identification number) for secure access to their Summer School records and online services. Students who register online receive PINs as part of the online registration process; students who register by mail or in person receive their PINs via US mail.

Late Registration

Monday, June 12–Friday, June 30 (Eight-week session)
Monday, June 12–Wednesday, June 28 (Short session I)
Monday, June 12–Wednesday, July 26 (Short session II)

Students who do not pay in full by June 11 are charged a $100 late fee. Housing assignments and space in limited-enrollment courses may not be held for students who do not meet the June 11 deadline. Students who register after June 11 must include full payment of tuition and fees, including the late fee. Students who arrive at the Summer School after classes begin risk being dropped from their courses.
