Computer Accounts and Facilities

As a Summer School student, you are eligible for a computer account with Faculty of Arts and Sciences Information Technology.

Accounts include:

• E-mail
• Campus access to computing resources in the Science Center and at 53 Church Street
• Remote access to computing resources using your own computer with an Internet service provider and secure applications that meet Harvard specifications

You may activate your account beginning in early June if you are registered and paid in full. Use the instructions in the Student Handbook and Guide to Computing (available online in late spring). Accounts are active through the end of the summer session.

Computer discounts

As a student, you are eligible for special student pricing on computer hardware and software from Apple, IBM, Microsoft, and GovConnection. These prices are available via online services once you are registered.
