Study Abroad Programs
Expect a true Harvard experience, engage your intellectual curiosity with Harvard faculty, and study in a range of fields.
Study abroad exposes you to new ways of living and learning. You may find yourself navigating new cultural encounters and experiencing new foods, different customs, and unfamiliar domestic patterns—and doing all of this in a new language. Explore the programs list at right to learn about what you can expect.
Earn college credit
All programs span 5 to 10 weeks and are 8 credits. The credits are accepted toward degrees at Harvard College and at most colleges and universities. See Study Abroad Credit Information for details.
Application and cost
To apply, students must be at least 18, have completed 1 year of college or be a first-year student, and be in good academic standing. Admission criteria are outlined on each program webpage. The cost of programs ranges from $5,000 to $8,000.
