Tips for moving in

Travel to campus should be scheduled so that you can move in during regular check-in hours (noted above). Early arrival and check-in is not permitted, so plan your travel arrangements accordingly. If you are registered for the seven-week session or three-week session I, you are encouraged to arrive before 3 pm on June 23.

Student handbook

The Summer School Student Handbook is available online closer to the summer term. The handbook provides detailed information on the academic policies and rules of conduct that apply to resident and nonresident students. It also describes resources available at Harvard and in the greater-Boston area that will help make your summer a rewarding one.

You can currently read some of these policies and rules on Student Responsibilities and Rights and Regulations.

Tips for moving out

You should move out of your residence after you have taken your final exams and attended last class meetings. If you are registered for consecutive three-week sessions or consecutive Pre-College Program sessions, you do not move out between your sessions and should refer to the move-out schedule for your last session.

Residences must be vacated no later than the date and time listed above for your session. Student ID cards and access to the residences will expire at these times.

There are no exceptions to the times listed above, so plan your travel arrangements accordingly.
