Course Experience

We understand that you need flexible attendance options to balance school with setting yourself up for success in the future.

Harvard Summer School Courses are intensive, 4- or 8-credit courses condensed over 3-, 4-, or 7-weeks.

Three participation options let you pick what fits into your summer:

If you’re looking for a less intensive option or your summer plans change, the Harvard Extension School offers many of the same open enrollment courses in Fall, January Term, and Spring. You can also apply eligible Summer School courses toward a degree, certificate, or microcertificate.
