Funding
Harvard College students
Harvard College students are eligible to apply for funding through the Office of Career Services (OCS), as well as a variety of centers on campus. All Harvard Summer School study abroad programs qualify for funding through the OCS Summer Study Abroad Grant.
Consult the Harvard College Funding Sources Database for more information on all sources of funding. Consider dropping in for information on summer international experiences (including funding) Monday through Friday, from 1 to 4 pm, at OCS.
Deadlines. The OCS Summer Study Abroad Grant is due Friday, February 17, 2012. Separate application is required.
To apply for any study abroad funding:
- Provide budget information (sample budgets are available on individual program webpages)
- Submit an application through the Centralized Application for Research and Travel (CARAT) and supplementary documents to the relevant center, if necessary. Additional information on the funding application process is available through CARAT.

Submitting payments
Harvard Summer School online services allows accepted students to make deposits and full payments with a valid credit card. Deposit amounts will be listed on this page (when available). Harvard College students who receive funding will see awards posted to their student account in April or May. If you are not a Harvard College student and you expect to receive outside funding, please contact the Summer School Student Financial Services Office.
If payment cannot be made online, students can also mail payment, along with a completed study abroad payment form, to:

Payment deadlines and amounts
For those admitted to a study abroad program, a nonrefundable deposit must be received by April 13 to secure a place in the program.
A nonrefundable deposit must be received by April 6 for the Munich program.
Payment in full is due by May 21. A late fee will be charged for payments received after this date.
