Secondary School Program
A high school summer program at Harvard
Wondering what college is like? Experience it yourself this summer in the Harvard Secondary School Program.
Take real Harvard courses
You enroll in Harvard courses, studying alongside college and adult students at Harvard Summer School.
Explore subjects not available at your high school and earn college credit. You learn from distinguished faculty and use the largest university library system in the world. See Academics.
If you want to increase your English language skills, apply to the Secondary School English Language Program.
Who can apply
If you are a high school student interested in studying at Harvard in the summer, you should apply. Application to the Secondary School Program is open to students who will graduate in 2012, 2013, or 2014. For application and admission criteria, see Admission.
Cost
The cost is $10,370, which includes tuition for two 4-credit courses, room and board, and health insurance (if needed). See Tuition and Financial Aid for more details.
Housing and college prep
By living on campus or participating in fun activities—like sports games, a trivia bowl, and dances—you will make friends from all over the globe. You can also attend college prep workshops, a college fair, and talks by Harvard admissions staff. See Housing and Activities and College Prep.
