Are you a high school student interested in pursuing a college experience before you graduate? Join us to learn more about Harvard Summer School’s two-week and seven-week programs!
Sunday, January 21, 9:30 am–12 pm
Northwest Science Building, Room B103

Meet staff and faculty from the Secondary School Program and Pre-College Program and discover why over 2,000 motivated teenagers choose to spend their summer studying at Harvard.
Join us to learn about:
- Academics and courses
- Campus life and housing
- Activities and social events
- Financial aid*
- Faculty and proctor resources
*If you plan on applying for financial aid, both your program and financial aid applications are due Thursday, February 1.
9:30–10 am, Check-In
Arrive and settle into room B-103 for the general presentation. Seating is first come, first served. Once the room has reached capacity, guests are invited to view the presentation via live stream in room B-101.
10–10:45 am, General Presentation
Learn about our two- and seven-week programs for high school students, and what it's like to spend your summer at Harvard in a presentation by program directors and former students.
10:45–11:30 am, Open House
Summer school staff, faculty, proctors, and former students will be on hand to answer your questions and provide more details about application deadlines, course selection, activities, housing and more!
We offer free parking at the Oxford Street Garage. Parking will be valid until 5 pm, so take the opportunity to explore Harvard's campus and enjoy lunch in Harvard Square after the information session.
Who should attend?
- High school students who will graduate in 2018, 2019, or 2020
Note: high school students who graduate in 2018 are not eligible for the Pre-College Program.
- Families of interested students
- High school teachers and guidance counselors
Live outside the Northeast?
Rather than attending the event in person, we encourage those who live outside of the Northeast and New England to review the website and reach out to our staff via email or phone.

If you have already applied to either the Pre-College Program or Secondary School Program this event is not mandatory. Application decisions for both programs are not influenced by attending the information session.
Should weather prevent us from holding the event during its regularly scheduled time, the event will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
